You are not here to be average. You are here to SLAY! With only three months left in the year, how will you execute your final projects or complete unfinish goals? The following is a list to get you motivated and slaying in the right direction:
1.Pray for divine direction.
Consult God to ensure that the goals you are pursuing are ordained by Him. You always want to only do what is in God’s will.
2. Frame your goal sheet.
After completing the goal sheet, you want the presentation of it to be inviting so that you will revisit it again and again for the next 3 months. Subscribe to my newsletter to get a goal sheetĀ FREE!
3. Hang your goal sheet in a prominent location.
You must view your goals daily to keep track of the steps. Hang it in your office, bedroom or other area that you frequent.
4. Share your goal sheet with your accountability partner.
It is always wise to ask for help. Ask your accountability partner to review and help you keep track of your goals.
5. Restart daily, even if you miss a deadline.
Do not become discouraged if you miss a deadline. Start again the next day and adjust as needed. The ultimate completion date is Dec. 31st!
6. Celebrate and share your positive results!
As you complete the steps needed to reach your goals, share your success verbally or via social media. Let others celebrate with you!
These are awesome tips. I need to get it cranking on my 2016 goals that I have yet to complete.
Great tips! I am trying to finish the 4th quarter strong!!! I have my goals sitting in a prominent position in my office! 2016 went by so quickly!
Great job, LaShawn! Looking forward to witnessing your success!
I love your tips, LaQuisha! I often get discouraged if I miss a deadline or I can’t mark things off my to-do list. I agree with you it’s important to not get discouraged and remember tomorrow is a new day to try again. I never thought to frame my goals. I actually have a notebook where I write my goals down. If I frame them and hang them up on my office wall, I think I will be more focused on reaching my goals because I will see them everyday! Oh, and the biggest of all…divine intervention! A big YES! I always pray over my goals and creative pursuits. LOVE this tip most of all!
So proud of you, Jennifer!! If I can support you in any way, let me know. Be encouraged!
Praying for divine direction is the most important for me at this time. I think God allows things to happen so that we can lean and depend on him. I have gotten closer to God this year and that is a great thing.
Amen sis! Be encouraged!
Really great tips! I plan to slay the last quarter and finish strong. One thing I plan to take away is sharing my goals with an accountability partner!!
Yes queen! Get to it! However, you have done a great job slaying this year if I may say so! Keep it up…
Goal setting is always easy for me. Not adding goals is the hard part. I get ambitious and sometimes out too much on my plate. Starting over is a good point for me… Without regret!
Yes! You’ve got this! š
Great list of positivity to achieve your last quarter goals! I am ready to continue to go after mine as the year almost go to a close I know I can do it!
Yes, you can, queen!
I guess it’s not too late to make 4th quarter goals. Thanks for the tips, I need to get to it!
Yes queen! You can do it!
My year has been incredible, I feel like I’ve lost my mojo a bit. I’m going to give myself a fresh start and finish this year strong. I really need to Pray for divine direction.
Yes Mimi! I have been watching you from afar and I am so proud of you and all of your accomplishments! Keep slaying, queen!
I am definitely planning to slay this final quarter. It is taking a lot of discipline to remain consistent with my effort. It has definitely helped having friends who know my goals and help me to stay accountable. As I strive to get better I am working hard not to let setbacks hold me back. You are right we can start new every day.
It is so important to start fresh everyday or you can easily become discouraged. You can do it, queen!
I’ve been struggling so much lately to stay on course with my goals. I’ve had so much going on that they’ve fallen to the back burner, but I love the idea of hanging them in a prominent location so I see them daily and get a little reminder.

Having my goals in front of me inspires me to keep moving daily. I am also a visual learner. I need to see where I am going! Blessings to you in your future success!
I admit, I haven’t made any last quarter goals. I have been seeing things coming to pass from my vision board, so that’s a start.
Wow, that is awesome, Stacie! Finish the year strong! #SLAYeverything2016
This post is spot on. All great points, especially praying for direction. 2016 has ran by so quickly and I need to accomplish a few goals and maybe let go a few. Praying for direction always seems to help me know what to do. Thank you for the reminder, especially when I feel tempted to lean on my own understanding.
Amen, sis! You’ve got this!! #SLAYeverything2016
