While it is important to show love to your spouse or partner, it is also important to show love to other successful women, Queen. Women are often fierce competitors with each other instead of team members. Fewer women are truly doing the work of empowering other women. Women are a force to reckon with when they work together. How can you pull other women up and share the success?
Be an inspiration.
Being a role model is the best ways to have other women follow in your footsteps. Take the time to mentor those who need your experience and guidance in social and business matters. It is important to share that being a strong and powerful woman is easier than they think.
Receiving a compliment from a superior is a confidence booster and an affirmative that one is in the right direction. A more confident woman will feel empowered to take on more challenges in the knowledge that she will not be seen as weak or lower when she makes a mistake.
Defend other women.
Speak up for vulnerable women when they are being harassed or ill-treated both at work and where you live. Hold people who belittle women accountable. Help vulnerable women learn how to defend themselves by showing channels of redress, recommending a good business investment or even a martial arts class. A woman who can stand up for herself physically, financially and intellectually can take on daily challenges more confidently.
Do not discriminate.
Learn to accept women of different religions, sexual orientation, and body type and fashion sense. Try to pull up those who are less fortunate by showing them what you think would be classy without appearing snobbish. As Lupita Nyong’o said, all dreams are valid. Point the dreamer in the right direction and they will come to thank you later.
Be happy for others.
Everyone likes feeling appreciated. Celebrating the small successes and milestones in other women’s lives is a way of making them feel more appreciated and confident that they have people to rely on. Congratulate other women on their achievements and they will be happy for your successes in the future.
Positivity helps face challenges with a head held high. Staying positive is contagious and will make other women around you feel upbeat and confident too.
Give a listening ear and a kind word to a fellow woman going through challenges at work or at home. Moral support is a powerful morale booster which will help the sufferer feel appreciated and give a sense of belonging.
All great points. I love this post. I’m really for “Complimenting and encouraging” for sure. I think women tend to have difficulties doing these two and it’s so important.
These are all great! I love when women support each other. Great post.
Very sweet post. I host my annual Galentines to celebrate Valentines for my gal pals and I encourage all of this. We women have to empower one another.
Yes to all of this. I am glad to see more and more women amplifying this message of empowering and supporting each other.
So loving this message! I see women joking/putting another down because she doesn’t have on what they feel is the right designer or have the right shape! Let’s just support and help one another. WE can all win. #SupportHer #LoveHer
These are great tips. You are right. We should encourage each other. So many times women are doing the exact opposite. Thanks for sharing this.
this is such a good read. I feel like there’s not enough. I’ve learned that sometimes the best gift we can give others is that of encouragement.
This is a really great post. I love the message. I am a woman who gives compliments where due. I’ve fixed tags on complete strangers. We are in this together
All of these a great! Giving a compliment is the easiest thing you can do to brighten someone’s day.
I am a champion of all of these, the easiest thing to do is be kind to someone. I love style, so I can’t see something I love and not say anything.
YES to all of these! We see so many women just tearing down other women these days instead of building them up!
Yes to all of these! Love believes the best and sometimes we really need to check how we see our sistahs.
YES!!! I love all of these. We can learn so much from one another. Why not compliment, motivate and just be happy for each other. Life is too short to do anything else.
Absolutely agree and love it!! Thank you so much for sharing and being the beautiful Queen that you are!!??❤
I approve of this message! I am so glad my momma raised me with these principles ingrained in me, even when others take advantage.
